SRCR450DW solar refrigerator has a European luxurious style. It is stainless steel and is manufactured with the German made Danfoss DC compressor (now Secop-Nidec).

Its large cooling refrigeration storage on the top, generous sized freezing compartment on the bottom and European style exterior makes it ideal as a boat refrigerator, tiny home refrigerator, in on and off grid homes, boats, RVs (caravans), farms and for businesses.

To operate per day, this unit requires mono/poly solar panels, 59Ah* 12 volt deep-cycle battery and a 15 amp 12/ 24v solar charge controller. Easy installation by an electrician, or we can provide guided instructions to install.

Very loud compressor

We are very unsatisfied with this product. The compressor is very loud and does not change, even when the temperature is turned down. I do not recommend buying this if you plan to have it in your home. It sounds like a commercial refrigerator. DO NOT BUY.

We are sorry you are not happy with your purchase. However after 5 months of your purchase, you reporting a sound level of 63 decibels (which is within a normal domestic fridge noise level of between 45-75 dB) and wanting a full refund, is outside of our refund policy which is clearly visible as a menu option on our website. This refrigerator model is now completely sold out and we now have many other more efficient refrigerator options on our website.

I live in between Honolulu & Big Island. So, I was able to go down to the Honolulu warehouse to inspect the fridge. It looked way better in person and is made with
a Danfoss compressor. It was discounted at the time, so, I decided to buy 2 instead of 1. They’ve been working great for 2 months now. Thanks Ben
